Popular Bunbury croquet player, Kim Reynolds has been chosen to represent W.A. at the Australian Golf Croquet Championships to be held in Brisbane in September. The burly Bunbury truck driver is helping change the out-dated image of croquet as an upper-class gentlefolk game. Reynolds, who started playing just three years ago after his two sons and wife Megan took up the sport, has developed into a skillful, versatile exponent of both forms of the game - association croquet and golf croquet. He is also a member of the State Development Squad for association croquet. During his three years at the Moorabinda club, Kim has played in tournaments around the state and has been successful in bringing home many trophies. This will be his first interstate campaign which will involve ten days of both singles and doubles competition.
